In the late 1980s, I arrived in the US as an international student with ambition and limited resources. Over three decades, I:

  • Climbed from software developer to Global Head roles

  • Navigated C-suite dynamics at MSCI and at Calypso Tech (now NASDAQ)

  • Earned degrees from Southern Methodist University, UC Berkeley, and Executive Education at Stanford University

  • Built strategic career capital and made a career pivot to entrepreneurship

Joe is a Strategic Advisor at TopSeeds, bringing 25 years of technology, finance, and operational expertise to help senior leaders navigate career transitions and maximize their professional impact.

With a unique blend of experience spanning product management at Oracle, investment banking at CIBC, and sell-side equity research at TD Cowen, Joe understands the complete lifecycle of business leadership—from product development to capital markets strategy. His career highlights include advising on the sale of an e-commerce platform to Fiverr (NASDAQ: FVRR) and playing a key role in the IPO of Rubrik (NASDAQ: RBRK).

As former Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal, Joe led private equity value-creation initiatives and M&A diligence on transactions totaling $10 billion, while driving corporate transformations that generated over $1 billion in shareholder value. He also served as Head of Investor Relations at BlackBerry, where he guided the company through its strategic pivot from hardware to becoming a leading automotive software provider—firsthand experience in navigating major career and business transformations.

Joe specializes in helping finance and product leaders align their strengths with market opportunities, develop compelling professional narratives, and execute strategic career moves. He leverages his deep expertise in finance, operations, technology, and M&A to guide clients through high-stakes decisions, career pivots, and leadership transitions that create long-term value.
